You don’t need to download or install any special software to use Lingoba. Simply open your browser and visit Lingoba.com to attend your classes.

Lingoba works with popular browsers like Chrome, Edge, and Safari.

We recommend using one of these browsers during your lessons to ensure the best experience. Other browsers may cause compatibility issues.

2) Hardware Setup

Prepare a laptop or desktop computer (PC or Mac), and make sure it has a working microphone and camera.

Using headphones is recommended to prevent echoes during your lessons.

3) Mobile Devices

If you prefer to use a mobile device, you’ll need to download and install our classroom app.

After downloading via the QR code, there’s no need to open the app manually — the website will launch it automatically when needed.

Once installed, open Lingoba.com in your mobile browser, log in, and when it’s time for your lesson, simply tap "Enter Classroom" to join.

4) Internet Connection

Please ensure you have a stable internet connection with a download speed over 10Mbps and an upload speed over 1Mbps for smooth online lessons.


2. Find a Teacher and Start Your Lesson

Choose a Teacher

Browse the [Free Teachers] list in the menu and pick a teacher you like. You can view their basic profile information.

Book a Free Lesson

Click [Book Lesson] or [Book Free Lesson], select your preferred time slot, then click [Confirm Selection][Book Free Lesson].

Reservation Complete

When it’s time for your lesson, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Lingoba.com
  2. Click the Enter Classroom button (the button will become active 8 minutes before the lesson starts)
  3. The first time you enter, you’ll be asked to check your camera and microphone.
  4. If there’s an issue, try selecting a different device or switching equipment.


2. What is the Student Code of Conduct?

Our teachers carefully prepare for each lesson and will be ready and waiting for you on time.

Please respect their time by arriving promptly.

If you are running late or unable to attend, you can message your teacher through the platform or cancel the lesson in advance.

Please communicate with your teacher politely and professionally to build a positive and respectful learning relationship.

6. How do I attend my first class?

After booking your first lesson, follow these steps to join the class:

  1. Before the lesson starts, make sure your device is connected to the internet and you are logged in to Lingoba.com.
  2. When it’s time for your lesson, simply click the Enter Classroom button to start!


7. What are free lessons?

The free trial lesson at Lingoba is designed to give users a full experience of our courses.

It allows you to understand Lingoba’s teaching model and get a feel for each teacher’s style, helping you choose the right teacher for you.

Here’s what you need to know about free lessons:

  1. Free lessons will deduct from your available free lesson credits.
  2. When you register, you receive 10 free lesson credits. To get more, you’ll need to participate in special activities.
  3. Each teacher has a limit on how many free lessons they offer.
  4. Once that limit is reached, you won’t be able to book free lessons with that teacher. The limit is set by the teacher themselves.
  5. You can have up to two upcoming free lessons booked at any given time.
  6. Each free lesson is 30 minutes long.
  7. Paid lessons can be 30, 45, or 60 minutes, depending on your choice.
  8. Free lessons do not support teacher-initiated bookings (the teacher cannot book a free lesson on your behalf).


8. How can I get more free lessons?

There are several ways to earn more free lessons:

  1. Follow Lingoba’s official channels, such as our website and social media, to stay updated on the latest promotions and opportunities to get free lessons.
  2. Invite your friends to register with Lingoba — both you and your friend will receive 10 free lesson credits as a reward!

Lingoba allows you to continue taking lessons using free lesson credits.

However, for the best learning experience, we recommend purchasing paid lessons once you find a teacher you really like.

9. How do I book a free lesson?

Here’s how to book a free lesson:

  1. Visit Lingoba.com.
  2. Click on the Free Teachers menu.
  3. Choose a teacher you like and click the Book Lesson button.
  4. Select your preferred time slot, then click Book Free Lesson.
  5. Your booking is complete!


10. What is the difference between free lessons and paid lessons?

Both free and paid lessons at Lingoba are one-on-one courses, with teachers dedicated to delivering high-quality lessons.

However, paid lessons come with the following advantages:

  1. A fixed teacher, with no limit on the number of lessons you can book.
  2. The ability for teachers to book or cancel lessons on your behalf.
  3. Multiple lesson durations available, including 30, 45, and 60 minutes.
  4. More comprehensive support, including homework assistance and other learning processes.

11. Can I ask the teacher to help me book or cancel a lesson?

Paid lessons allow teachers to book or cancel lessons on your behalf, while free lessons must be canceled by the student themselves.

12. How do I purchase paid lessons?

Recharge your 学豆 (Credits).

Log in to the website and click on the recharge link to add credits.

Book a lesson or purchase a teacher’s special course.

13. How do I recharge Credits? What payment methods are accepted?

学豆 (Credit) is Lingoba’s virtual currency (1 Credit = 1 USD). It can be used to purchase lessons and other learning resources.

How to recharge Credit:

  1. Log in to Lingoba’s learning platform and enter the Learning Center.
  2. Go to your Personal Center and find the recharge option.
  3. Choose the amount you wish to recharge and select a payment method to complete the process.

Lingoba accepts the following payment methods:

  1. USD payments:
  2. PayPal (including credit and debit cards)
  3. Western Union
  4. RMB payments (exchange rate updated daily at 8:00 AM):

14. Can a family member pay for my recharge order?

Yes, Lingoba supports payments made by family or friends on your behalf.

Follow these steps:

  1. Generate a recharge order.
  2. Click on "Find Someone to Pay."
  3. A QR code or link will appear — send it to the person who will make the payment. Once they complete the payment, the order will be automatically processed.


15. Are Credits transferable? Do they expire?

学豆 (Credits) have no expiration date and can be held permanently.

Paid credits can be transferred to others.

Steps for transferring credits:

  1. Click on the "Redeem Credits" menu.
  2. Click the button to Generate Recharge Card Number.
  3. Enter the amount you wish to transfer and click Generate Recharge Card Number.
  4. After the card number is generated, copy it and send it to the recipient for redemption.

Steps for redeeming credits:

  1. Click on the "Redeem Credits" menu.
  2. Enter the recharge card number.
  3. Click the Redeem button to complete the process.


16. How can I get a refund for purchased Credits?

Refund Policy:

Paid 学豆 (Credits) are refundable without conditions. After a refund, any bonus credits received will be automatically cleared.

If you need a refund for the credits you purchased, follow these steps:

  1. Contact Lingoba customer service, providing the reason for the refund and your request.
  2. The customer service team will review your case and provide an appropriate refund solution.
  3. If your refund request meets the criteria, customer service will assist you in completing the refund process.


17. What should I do if my teacher is absent?

If you encounter a situation where a teacher is unavailable or misses a class, please contact customer service or the teacher immediately. We will take appropriate action based on the circumstances:

  1. Contact the teacher or customer service for assistance.
  2. If the teacher is unable to attend the class due to their own reason, we will refund the frozen credits or free lesson credits.
  3. You can also contact the teacher to arrange a makeup lesson to make up for the lost time.


18. What if there is no sound or video after entering the classroom?

If you enter the classroom and there is no sound or video, it could be due to one of the following reasons:

  1. Permission Issues
  2. The first time you open the classroom, you will need to grant permission. Please select "Allow" to enable sound and video.

2.Device Issues

Please check if your camera, microphone, and speakers are turned on and if the drivers are functioning properly.
